Role Overview
Banzai is seeking a dynamic and data-driven Head of Marketing to lead our global marketing organization. The Head of Marketing will be a key member of the GTM leadership team, responsible for building and scaling demand generation, brand, and customer growth programs across both self-serve SaaS and enterprise SaaS segments.
The Head of Marketing will partner closely with Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success to deliver cohesive go-to-market programs, while owning marketing strategy, execution, and performance. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution, driving impact across the funnel from awareness through acquisition, retention, and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Growth & Revenue Marketing:
- Own and exceed pipeline creation and marketing-sourced revenue targets across self-serve, mid-market, and enterprise segments.
- Lead demand generation, performance marketing, and integrated campaigns across digital, events, ABM, and partner channels.
- Design and optimize acquisition funnels for both self-serve and enterprise motions, using a data-driven, experimentation-led approach.
- Partner with Sales to ensure seamless campaign alignment and lead handoff, with a shared focus on conversion and revenue.
- Drive lifecycle and customer marketing programs that increase retention, expansion, and advocacy.
Brand & Product Marketing:
- Define and communicate Banzai’s brand, positioning, and messaging across all audiences and channels.
- Build compelling product marketing narratives that support both enterprise and self-service use cases.
- Ensure consistent, clear communication of Banzai’s value proposition in the market.
Team Leadership & Culture:
- Recruit, coach, and manage existing and future high-performing marketing team across demand generation, growth, product marketing, and customer marketing.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with the VP Sales, VP Partnerships, and Head of Customer Success to ensure unified GTM execution.
Strategic Leadership:
- Shape marketing strategy to support Banzai’s ambitious revenue growth
- Define KPIs, build systems for reporting and attribution, and communicate performance clearly to the CRO and executive team.
- Bring customer and market insights into product and GTM strategy discussions.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- 8-10+ years of progressive B2B SaaS marketing leadership, including at least 5+ years leading marketing at the VP or Head level, including team and vendor/partner management.
- Proven success driving ARR from $5M to $30M+ in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Expertise across performance marketing, demand generation, PLG/self-serve funnels, and enterprise campaigns.
- Experience with retention, upsell, and customer lifecycle marketing for SaaS.
- Strong grasp of marketing attribution, pipeline management, and revenue metrics.
- Hands-on experience with modern martech, analytics, and automation platforms.
- Collaborative, data-driven, and clear communicator with a track record of cross-functional alignment.
- Experience targeting Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance industries a plus.
- Background in sales tech, martech, or video/engagement platforms a strong plus.

Compensation:
- Base Salary: $155,000 – $190,000
- Equity: Competitive stock plan package
