Role Description
We are seeking a Product Data Analyst to join our Video Business Unit. In this role, you will help drive a deep understanding of how users engage across all our video products. You will analyze product usage patterns, identify features that drive adoption or are underutilized, and deliver actionable insights to Product and Leadership teams to optimize engagement, retention, and roadmap prioritization. You will also play a key role in designing, implementing, and analyzing product data pipelines, event tracking frameworks, and usage trends to inform product decisions and growth strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze product usage data across the Video Unit portfolio to uncover adoption trends, drop-offs, and feature utilization rates.
- Build and maintain dashboards that monitor product engagement, customer health, and key usage metrics.
- Conduct cohort analyses, feature adoption tracking, and customer segmentation to identify growth opportunities.
- Define success metrics, funnels, and attribution models in collaboration with Product Managers.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, and GTM teams to surface insights and inform roadmap decisions.
- Identify underused features and develop data-driven hypotheses for enhancement or deprecation.
- Define and track KPIs related to feature success, trial conversions, churn reduction, and engagement improvements.
- Support A/B testing plans by analyzing experiments and measuring business impact.
- Map user journeys to highlight friction points and opportunities for cross-product workflows.
- Deliver ad hoc analyses to support product strategy, pricing models, and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or a related role within SaaS or technology companies.
- Proficient in SQL and experienced with data visualization tools (Mixpanel preferred, or similar platforms).
- Strong understanding of event tracking frameworks (e.g., Segment, Mixpanel, Google Analytics) and data structuring best practices.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data quality and analytical accuracy.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies, statistical analysis, and experimentation preferred.
- Experience with video, webinar, or content creation platforms is a plus but not required.
